Comparison review
Xperia 1 has a global score of 82.6, which is better than TCL 10 Pro's general score of 72.1. Even though the Xperia 1 is older than the TCL 10 Pro, it's design is thinner and a little bit lighter. Sony Xperia 1 features a bit more powerful processor than TCL 10 Pro. Both have a 6 GB RAM and the same number of cores.
Xperia 1 counts with a bit sharper screen than TCL 10 Pro, because although it has much darker display, and they both have a display with the same size, the Xperia 1 also counts with a way higher 1644 x 3840 resolution and a much greater pixels amount per inch in the screen. Xperia 1 counts with a bit bigger storage capacity for applications and games than TCL 10 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Xperia 1 also has a SD memory slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
TCL 10 Pro has a very superior battery lifetime than Xperia 1, because it has 4550mAh of battery capacity instead of 3330mAh. The TCL 10 Pro takes much better photos and videos than Xperia 1, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for low light photography and video, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the TCL 10 Pro also counts with a way larger sensor providing a much better image quality, better 30 fps video frame rate and a way more MP back-facing camera.
Although Xperia 1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than TCL 10 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the TCL 10 Pro. If you want to save some dollars, you can get TCL 10 Pro, letting go a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
