Both phones in this review come with Android OS, but Xperia Z3+ has the previous 5.0 version and TCL 10L has Android 11. Xperia Z3+ is an noticeably older device than the TCL 10L, but it's way lighter and thinner anyway.
The TCL 10L counts with just a little better processing power than Xperia Z3+, because it has a higher amount of RAM memory and 7 more 2 gigahertz CPU cores. Xperia Z3+ has a much better looking screen than TCL 10L, because although it has a really smaller screen and a quite lower resolution of 1920 x 1080px, it also counts with a quite greater pixels number in each screen inch.
The TCL 10L has a way bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Sony Xperia Z3+, because it has 64 GB internal storage capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB. TCL 10L captures a bit better photos and videos than Sony Xperia Z3+, and although they both have the same video frame rate, a same size sensor and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the TCL 10L also has a much higher 48 megapixels resolution camera and a bigger aperture to capture better low light captures.
TCL 10L has a much longer battery lifetime than Sony Xperia Z3+, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
Despite of being the best phone of the ones we are comparing here, Sony Xperia Z3+ is also by far the cheapest.
