Comparison review
Huawei Mate 20 is slightly better than TCL 20 5G, with a global score of 79.5 against 73.1. Despite of the fact that the Huawei Mate 20 is older than TCL 20 5G, it's body is just a little thinner and a little bit lighter. These phones come with Android OS, but Huawei Mate 20 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while TCL 20 5G has Android 10, so it offers some extra features and better performance.
The Huawei Mate 20 features a bit more powerful processing unit than TCL 20 5G, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have 8 cores. Huawei Mate 20 counts with just a bit better screen than TCL 20 5G, because although it has a little lower resolution of 1080 x 2244, a little smaller display and a bit lower pixels density, it also counts with a way brighter screen.
The TCL 20 5G has a superior memory capacity for games and applications than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the TCL 20 5G also has a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB. TCL 20 5G counts with a little longer battery life than Huawei Mate 20, because it has a 4500mAh battery size against 4000mAh.
TCL 20 5G shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have the same video frame rates, the same aperture and the same (4K) video resolution, the TCL 20 5G also has a much more mega-pixels camera in the back and a bigger sensor providing a better image quality.
