Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 30 is much better than TCL 20 5G, getting an 84 score against 73.1. These devices include the same Android 10 OS (operating system), so they should provide the user identical operating system features. The Huawei Mate 30 design is a little lighter and just a little thinner than the TCL 20 5G, despite of the fact that it was released just a bit more than a year before.
Huawei Mate 30 counts with a bit better performance than TCL 20 5G, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate 30 also has more RAM. The TCL 20 5G counts with a little sharper screen than Huawei Mate 30, because it has a little bigger display, a just a little better pixel number in each display inch and a slightly better 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution.
The Huawei Mate 30 counts with just a bit better camera than TCL 20 5G, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a camera with less mega pixels, and they both have the same camera aperture, the Huawei Mate 30 also counts with a way bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing way higher quality photos and videos.
The TCL 20 5G features a superior memory capacity to store more apps and games than Huawei Mate 30, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the TCL 20 5G also has an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB. The TCL 20 5G has just a little better battery performance than Huawei Mate 30, because it has a 7% more battery capacity.
