Comparison review
Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a bit better than the TCL 20 5G, with a general score of 78.7 against 73.1. Huawei Mate 9 Pro's body is lighter and somewhat thinner than the TCL 20 5G, although it was released 4 years before. Both phones we compare here use Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a newer 8.0 Oreo version and TCL 20 5G has Android 10, counting with lots of additional features and performance optimizations.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with just a little better hardware performance than TCL 20 5G. They have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores. Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a bit more vivid display than TCL 20 5G, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a greater quantity of pixels per display inch and a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution.

The TCL 20 5G features a much better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the TCL 20 5G also has an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB. TCL 20 5G counts with a bit longer battery life than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.
