Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Duo has a general score of 78.8, which is a bit better than TCL 20 5G's 73.1 overall score. These devices include the same Android 10 operating system. Even though the Microsoft Surface Duo and the TCL 20 5G were released with only 3 months difference, the Microsoft Surface Duo body is a lot thinner but also somewhat heavier.
The TCL 20 5G has a bit sharper screen than Microsoft Surface Duo, although it has a bit smaller display, a just a little lower pixels density and a lot lower 2400 x 1080 resolution. Microsoft Surface Duo has a little faster processing unit than TCL 20 5G. Both of them have a Octa-Core processing unit and a 6 GB RAM.
The TCL 20 5G counts with a greater camera than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has worse 30 frames per second video frame rates, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the TCL 20 5G also counts with a larger camera aperture to capture better captures in low-light situations and a back facing camera with a way higher resolution.
The TCL 20 5G has a way bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Microsoft Surface Duo, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory, the TCL 20 5G also has a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 256 GB. TCL 20 5G has better battery life than Microsoft Surface Duo, because it has a 26 percent more battery capacity.
