Comparison review
OnePlus 8 UW has a general score of 75.9, which is a little bit better than TCL 20 5G's 73.1 score. Both of these devices include the same Android 10 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't see any differences in that aspect. Even though OnePlus 8 UW and the TCL 20 5G were only released 7 months apart, OnePlus 8 UW is thinner and somewhat lighter.
OnePlus 8 UW features a bit sharper display than TCL 20 5G, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have an equal 1080 x 2400 resolution, the OnePlus 8 UW also counts with a way brighter display and a just a little higher pixels number in each inch of display. OnePlus 8 UW features a bit better processing power than TCL 20 5G, and although they both have the same number of cores, the OnePlus 8 UW also has more RAM memory.
TCL 20 5G features a way bigger memory capacity for applications and games than OnePlus 8 UW, and although they both have equal internal memory, the TCL 20 5G also has a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 256 GB. TCL 20 5G has a bit longer battery performance than OnePlus 8 UW, because it has a 5% bigger battery capacity.
OnePlus 8 UW captures a little bit better videos and photos than TCL 20 5G, and although they both have a same size diafragm aperture, a same size back-facing camera sensor, the same resolution back facing camera and the same (4K) video definition, the OnePlus 8 UW also has higher video frame rates.
