Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A40 is a bit better than the TCL 20 5G, having a 79.6 score against 73.1. Both of these phones use Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy A40 has newer 11 version while TCL 20 5G has Android 10, giving a couple additional features and performance tweaks. Even though the Samsung Galaxy A40 is older than TCL 20 5G, it's body is noticeably lighter and somewhat thinner.
The TCL 20 5G features a bit superior processor than Samsung Galaxy A40, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the TCL 20 5G also has 2 GB more RAM. TCL 20 5G features a slightly better looking screen than Galaxy A40, because although it has a just a bit less pixels per inch of screen, it also counts with a quite bigger display and a little higher resolution of 2400 x 1080.
The TCL 20 5G has a greater memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 256 GB against 512 GB, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity. TCL 20 5G counts with a much better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy A40, because it has a 45 percent larger battery size.
TCL 20 5G has a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a tinier camera aperture, it also counts with a much larger sensor, a back-facing camera with lot more mega pixels and a much higher (4K) video quality.
