The Galaxy Alpha has a global score of 76.3, which is a bit better than TCL 20 5G's 73.1 overall score. The Galaxy Alpha is a noticeably lighter and much thinner phone than the TCL 20 5G. Both phones in this comparison review use Android OS, but the Galaxy Alpha has a more recent 4.4.4 version and TCL 20 5G has Android 10, so it gives you lots of additional features.
The Galaxy Alpha has just a little better hardware performance than TCL 20 5G, because although it has less CPU cores (although they are faster) and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an extra graphics processor. Samsung Galaxy Alpha and TCL 20 5G feature very similar displays, although the Samsung Galaxy Alpha has a way worse resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, a just a bit worse quantity of pixels per inch in the display and a really smaller display.
TCL 20 5G counts with a much greater memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB and 128 GB internal memory. The TCL 20 5G has a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the TCL 20 5G also has a bigger camera aperture for better low-light images and video and a lot more mega-pixels back camera.
The TCL 20 5G counts with a very superior battery performance than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 142% larger battery capacity.
