Comparison review
Galaxy M40 has a general score of 85, which is much better than the TCL 20 5G's general score of 73.1. Both of these phones use the same Android 10 OS (operating system), so both should provide identical operating system features. The Galaxy M40 design is somewhat lighter and thinner than TCL 20 5G, despite of the fact that it was released only 18 months before.
The Samsung Galaxy M40 has a CPU that's just as good as the TCL 20 5G one, both have 6 GB of RAM memory and a Octa-Core CPU. TCL 20 5G has a little more vivid screen than Galaxy M40, because although it has a just a bit inferior number of pixels per inch in the display, it also counts with a little bit larger display and a little bit higher resolution of 2400 x 1080.
TCL 20 5G counts with a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy M40, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same video resolution, the TCL 20 5G also counts with a much better 48 MP resolution camera and a much larger sensor providing a much better image quality.
The Galaxy M40 counts with a slightly bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than TCL 20 5G, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Galaxy M40 also has a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 512 GB. The TCL 20 5G counts with improved battery duration than Samsung Galaxy M40, because it has a 29 percent larger battery capacity.
