The Xperia XA2 Plus is a little bit better than the TCL 20 5G, getting a global score of 78.6 against 73.1. Both phones in this review come with Android OS, but the Xperia XA2 Plus has newer 8.0 Oreo version and TCL 20 5G has Android 10, so it provides the user some extra features and performance optimizations. The Xperia XA2 Plus is a much older and a bit thicker cellphone than TCL 20 5G, but Sony was able to make it just a bit lighter anyway.
Xperia XA2 Plus has a bit superior processing unit than TCL 20 5G. Both have a Octa-Core processing unit and a 6 GB RAM. Xperia XA2 Plus counts with a little sharper screen than TCL 20 5G, because although it has a bit worse 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a little better quantity of pixels per inch in the screen and a quite more brightness.
TCL 20 5G has just a bit better camera than Xperia XA2 Plus, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the TCL 20 5G also has a larger back-facing camera sensor, a larger diafragm aperture for better low light photos and a back-facing camera with way more mega-pixels.
TCL 20 5G has a greater memory capacity to install applications and games than Xperia XA2 Plus, because although it has an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB against 400 GB, it also counts with 64 GB more internal storage capacity. TCL 20 5G has better battery duration than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, because it has a 26 percent bigger battery capacity.
