Comparison review
The Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro is a bit better than TCL 20 5G, getting a 78.7 score against 73.1. Even though the Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro is newer than TCL 20 5G, it's just a bit thicker and a little heavier. Both phones we compare here use Android OS, but Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro has a newer 12 version while TCL 20 5G has Android 10 version, providing the user some additional features and performance enhancements.
The TCL 20 5G counts with a sharper screen than Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro. Both of them have a better quantity of pixels per display inch, exactly the same resolution of 2400 x 1080px and a screen of the same size. Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro has a slightly bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than TCL 20 5G, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
TCL 20 5G features a much better performance than Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro, although it has 2 GB less RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores. Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro features a bit longer battery performance than TCL 20 5G, because it has 4650mAh of battery capacity instead of 4500mAh. Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro captures better pictures and videos than TCL 20 5G, because although it has a way smaller back camera sensor capturing way worse quality videos and photographs, and they both have the same diafragm aperture and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro also counts with faster 60 frames per second video frame rate and a lot higher resolution back facing camera.
