The Xiaomi Mi 8 SE is slightly better than the TCL 20 5G, having a overall score of 75.9 against 73.1. Although Xiaomi Mi 8 SE is older than TCL 20 5G, it's construction is somewhat thinner and way lighter. The Xiaomi Mi 8 SE counts with Android OS, and TCL 20 5G works with Android 10 OS.
