Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has an overall score of 76.6, which is a bit better than the TCL 20 5G's 73.1 general score. Although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 and TCL 20 5G were only released with a couple of months difference, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is just a little bit lighter and a little bit thinner. Both of these phones work with the same Android 10 OS (operating system).
TCL 20 5G features a little more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a bit lower count of pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a slightly better 2400 x 1080 resolution and a little larger display. The TCL 20 5G has a little faster CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the TCL 20 5G also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
TCL 20 5G counts with a very superior storage capacity to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 256 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a bit longer battery life than TCL 20 5G, because it has a 5020mAh battery capacity.
TCL 20 5G counts with just a bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have the same camera aperture, the same resolution back camera and a same size camera sensor, the TCL 20 5G also has a way higher (4K) video definition.
