Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a global score of 79, which is a little bit better than TCL 20 5G's global score of 73.1. Although Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S and the TCL 20 5G were only released with a few months difference, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S body is just a little heavier but just a bit thinner than the TCL 20 5G. Both of these phones come with Android OS, but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a more recent 11 version while TCL 20 5G has Android 10 version, counting with a couple nice extra features and performance improvements.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S counts with a little faster processor than TCL 20 5G, although it has less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. TCL 20 5G has a slightly better display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S. Both have a greater quantity of pixels per display inch, the same exact 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution and a screen with the same size.
TCL 20 5G has a bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has an external memory card slot that admits 256 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB more internal memory. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S captures slightly better videos and photos than TCL 20 5G. Both have the same video frame rate, the same 3840x2160 video resolution, a same size aperture, the same resolution camera and a same size back-facing camera sensor.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features just a bit longer battery life than TCL 20 5G, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity instead of 4500mAh.
