Comparison review
The Asus ZenFone 8 has a score of 83, which is a little bit better than the TCL 20 Pro 5G's general score of 76.1. Although the Asus ZenFone 8 and TCL 20 Pro 5G were released only a couple of months apart, the Asus ZenFone 8 is lighter and just a little thinner. These phones use the same Android 11 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't notice any differences regarding that.
Asus ZenFone 8 features a bit more powerful CPU than TCL 20 Pro 5G. Both have a 6 GB RAM and a Octa-Core processor. The Asus ZenFone 8 features a better looking screen than TCL 20 Pro 5G, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have the same exact 1080 x 2400 resolution, the Asus ZenFone 8 also counts with a bit greater screen density.
TCL 20 Pro 5G has a superior storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB and 256 GB internal memory. The TCL 20 Pro 5G counts with a little better battery performance than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has a 13% more battery size.
Asus ZenFone 8 captures a little bit better pictures and videos than TCL 20 Pro 5G, and although they both have a F1.8 aperture, the Asus ZenFone 8 also has a bigger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a lot more mega-pixels back-facing camera and a much higher 7680x4320 video definition.
