Comparison review
Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a global score of 78.7, which is a little bit better than TCL 20 Pro 5G's 76.1 score. Huawei Mate 9 Pro is an notably older phone than the TCL 20 Pro 5G, but it is lighter and somewhat thinner anyway. These phones work with Android OS, but the Huawei Mate 9 Pro has newer 8.0 Oreo version while TCL 20 Pro 5G has Android 11 version.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a little better processing power than TCL 20 Pro 5G. Both have a 6 GB RAM memory and the same number of cores. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a little more vivid screen than TCL 20 Pro 5G, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560px and a higher screen pixel density.
The TCL 20 Pro 5G has much more storage capacity to install applications and games than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 1 TB. TCL 20 Pro 5G has just a bit longer battery performance than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a 13 percent more battery size.
TCL 20 Pro 5G takes much better photos and videos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same (4K) video quality, the TCL 20 Pro 5G also has a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better images and videos in low-light situations, a lot bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a lot higher 48 megapixels resolution back facing camera.
