Comparison review
The LG Q8 has a global score of 77.2, which is slightly better than the TCL 20 Pro 5G's 76.1 general score. LG Q8 is an much older cellphone than TCL 20 Pro 5G, but LG was able to make it noticeably lighter and somewhat thinner. Both of these phones include Android OS (Operating System), but LG Q8 has 7.0 Nougat version and TCL 20 Pro 5G has Android 11 version, counting with some extra features and performance tweaks.
TCL 20 Pro 5G has a bit more powerful CPU than LG Q8, because it has more CPU cores and a higher amount of RAM. LG Q8 features a sharper screen than TCL 20 Pro 5G, because although it has a really smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2560 and more pixels per inch of display.
The TCL 20 Pro 5G features much more storage capacity to store more apps and games than LG Q8, because although it has a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 1 TB against 1,95 TB, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity. The TCL 20 Pro 5G features a really longer battery life than LG Q8, because it has a 50 percent more battery size.
TCL 20 Pro 5G features a superior camera than LG Q8, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate, the same 3840x2160 video quality and a same size aperture, the TCL 20 Pro 5G also has a way bigger camera sensor providing a lot higher image quality and a camera with a much better 48 megapixels resolution.
