LG V40 ThinQ has a global score of 81.2, which is just a bit better than the TCL 20 Pro 5G's 76.1 score. Despite of the fact that LG V40 ThinQ is way older than the TCL 20 Pro 5G, it's design is thinner and somewhat lighter. Both phones in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but the LG V40 ThinQ has an older 10 version and TCL 20 Pro 5G has Android 11.
LG V40 ThinQ features a bit better hardware performance than TCL 20 Pro 5G. Both of them have the same number of cores and a 6 GB RAM memory. The LG V40 ThinQ has a bit more vivid screen than TCL 20 Pro 5G, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a greater pixel density and a higher 1440 x 3120 resolution.
TCL 20 Pro 5G has a lot bigger memory capacity for applications and games than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has a slot for SD memory cards that holds 976 GB smaller, it also counts with 192 GB more internal memory. The TCL 20 Pro 5G counts with a much better camera than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has worse video frame rates and a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low-light photography and videos, and they both have the same video resolution, the TCL 20 Pro 5G also counts with a much larger back camera sensor and a back camera with much more MP.
The TCL 20 Pro 5G features improved battery lifetime than LG V40 ThinQ, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.
