Motorola Edge 40 Pro is slightly better than TCL 20 Pro 5G, with an 83.4 score against 76.1. The Motorola Edge 40 Pro is a newer and a little bit thinner device than TCL 20 Pro 5G, but it's also just a little bit heavier. Both phones in our current comparison use Android OS, but the Motorola Edge 40 Pro has the newer 13 version while TCL 20 Pro 5G has Android 11 version, counting with some nice extra features and improved performance.
The Motorola Edge 40 Pro features a bit more vivid display than TCL 20 Pro 5G. They have an equal resolution of 1080 x 2400, the same pixel density and a display of the same size. TCL 20 Pro 5G features a very superior CPU than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, although it has 6 GB lesser RAM, they both have 8 cores.
The TCL 20 Pro 5G features a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, and although they both have the same 256 GB internal storage, the TCL 20 Pro 5G also has an external SD slot that holds up to 1 TB. Motorola Edge 40 Pro takes much better videos and photos than TCL 20 Pro 5G, and although they both have a same size camera aperture, the Motorola Edge 40 Pro also has a higher resolution back camera, a way better 7680x4320 video definition and a lot larger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
The Motorola Edge 40 Pro features just a little bit longer battery lifetime than TCL 20 Pro 5G, because it has a 4600mAh battery size.
