Comparison review
Galaxy A31 is a bit better than TCL 20 Pro 5G, getting a overall score of 81.3 against 76.1. Both phones in this review include Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy A31 has the previous 10 version and TCL 20 Pro 5G has Android 11. The Galaxy A31 construction is just a little bit lighter and just a little thinner than the TCL 20 Pro 5G, despite of the fact that it was released just a bit more than a year before.
TCL 20 Pro 5G has just a little better processing power than Galaxy A31, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the TCL 20 Pro 5G also has more RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy A31 features a little more vivid screen than TCL 20 Pro 5G, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 1080 x 2400, the Samsung Galaxy A31 also counts with a little greater display pixels density.
The TCL 20 Pro 5G features a very superior storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy A31, because it has 192 GB more internal memory and an external memory slot that allows up to 1 TB. The Galaxy A31 features just a little better battery performance than TCL 20 Pro 5G, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4500mAh.
The TCL 20 Pro 5G features a slightly better camera than Galaxy A31, and although they both have a 48 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera and the same back camera sensor size, the TCL 20 Pro 5G also has a larger camera aperture for better low light images and video and a much better (4K) video definition.
