Comparison review
Galaxy A40 is a bit better than the TCL 20 Pro 5G, having a overall score of 79.6 against 76.1. Both phones in our current comparison include the same Android 11 OS. The Galaxy A40 is an extremely older device than the TCL 20 Pro 5G, but Samsung could make it thinner and way lighter. The Samsung Galaxy A40 features a little sharper screen than TCL 20 Pro 5G, because although it has a little worse 1080 x 2340 resolution and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit higher display pixel density.
The TCL 20 Pro 5G counts with a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy A40, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the TCL 20 Pro 5G also has 2 GB more RAM memory. The TCL 20 Pro 5G has a very superior memory for games and applications than Galaxy A40, because it has more internal memory capacity and an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 1 TB.
TCL 20 Pro 5G captures way better videos and photos than Galaxy A40, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not good for low light photography, it also counts with a much higher resolution back-facing camera, a lot bigger camera sensor shooting much better quality videos and pictures and a lot higher video definition.
TCL 20 Pro 5G counts with a much better battery life than Galaxy A40, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity.
