Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Fold has a general score of 97.6, which is way better than the TCL 20 Pro 5G's 76.1 general score. Despite of the fact the Samsung Galaxy Fold is older and a lot heavier than TCL 20 Pro 5G, it's design is still notably thinner. Both phones in this comparison come with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Fold has a newer 9.0 Pie version while TCL 20 Pro 5G has Android 11 version, so it gives some extra features and performance improvements.
Galaxy Fold features a screen that is very similar to the TCL 20 Pro 5G one, because although the Galaxy Fold has a little bit inferior pixels count in each display inch, it also counts with a quite better 1536 x 2152 resolution and a little bit bigger display. Galaxy Fold has a bit more powerful processing unit than TCL 20 Pro 5G, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Fold also has 6 GB more RAM.
The TCL 20 Pro 5G features a slightly better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Fold, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD memory slot that holds up to 1 TB. TCL 20 Pro 5G has a bit superior battery life than Galaxy Fold, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 4380mAh.
The TCL 20 Pro 5G captures much better videos and photos than Galaxy Fold, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for shooting pictures and/or video in low light environments and slower video frame rate, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the TCL 20 Pro 5G also counts with a way higher resolution back facing camera and a much bigger back camera sensor capturing way better quality photographs.
