Comparison review
Galaxy M40 has a score of 85, which is better than TCL 20 Pro 5G's global score of 76.1. Galaxy M40 is an older cellphone than the TCL 20 Pro 5G, but Samsung was able to make it thinner and lighter. These phones use Android operating system, but the Galaxy M40 has the previous 10 version while TCL 20 Pro 5G has Android 11.
The Samsung Galaxy M40's processing unit is very similar to the processing unit in TCL 20 Pro 5G, both have a Octa-Core processing unit and the same RAM memory amount. The Samsung Galaxy M40 counts with a slightly better looking screen than TCL 20 Pro 5G, because although it has a little worse resolution of 1080 x 2340px and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a little bit higher quantity of pixels per screen inch.
The TCL 20 Pro 5G counts with a way bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy M40, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB and more internal memory capacity. TCL 20 Pro 5G takes clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy M40, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rate, the TCL 20 Pro 5G also counts with a back facing camera with a way better 48 mega pixels resolution and a much bigger sensor capturing much higher quality photographs.
The TCL 20 Pro 5G counts with longer battery duration than Galaxy M40, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity.
