Comparison review
Galaxy Note8 is a bit better than the TCL 20 Pro 5G, having a general score of 83 against 76.1. The Galaxy Note8 is a older and just a little heavier device than TCL 20 Pro 5G, but Samsung could make it just a little bit thinner anyway. Both devices we compare here include Android OS, but Galaxy Note8 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while TCL 20 Pro 5G has Android 11 version.
The Galaxy Note8 has just a little better processing power than TCL 20 Pro 5G. Both of them have 8 cpu cores and 6 GB of RAM memory. Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit more vivid display than TCL 20 Pro 5G, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher quantity of pixels per inch in the display and a better resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels.
TCL 20 Pro 5G features a much better memory capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB and more internal memory capacity. TCL 20 Pro 5G features greater battery performance than Galaxy Note8, because it has a 36% more battery size.
The TCL 20 Pro 5G shoots better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is worse for shooting pictures and videos in low light situations, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the TCL 20 Pro 5G also counts with a much larger sensor capturing way higher quality videos and photos and a camera in the back with way more mega pixels.
