Comparison review
Xperia 1 III is way better than TCL 20 Pro 5G, having a global score of 93.3 against 76.1. Both of these devices include the same Android 11 OS. Xperia 1 III's construction is a bit lighter and thinner than TCL 20 Pro 5G, even when they were released only a couple of months apart. Xperia 1 III features a bit better processor than TCL 20 Pro 5G, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Xperia 1 III also has a higher amount of RAM.
The Xperia 1 III has a better looking screen than TCL 20 Pro 5G, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a lot better pixels density and a much better 1644 x 3840px resolution. TCL 20 Pro 5G features just a bit better camera than Xperia 1 III, because although it has lower 30 fps video frame rates, a smaller aperture which is worse for low light images and video and a tinier camera sensor shooting worse quality videos and photographs, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the TCL 20 Pro 5G also counts with a camera in the back with a much better 48 megapixels resolution.
Xperia 1 III features as much storage capacity for games and applications as the TCL 20 Pro 5G, both of them have a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 1 TB and the same internal memory capacity. Xperia 1 III features a battery lifetime that's very similar to the TCL 20 Pro 5G one.
