Comparison review
Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro has a score of 78.7, which is slightly better than TCL 20 Pro 5G's 76.1 general score. Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro is a newer cellphone than the TCL 20 Pro 5G, but it is just a bit thicker and somewhat heavier. Both phones in this review include Android operating system, but Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro has the newer 12 version while TCL 20 Pro 5G has Android 11, so it offers some extra features and better performance.
The TCL 20 Pro 5G has a little more vivid screen than Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro. Both have an equal resolution of 1080 x 2400, a screen with the same size and the same pixels density. The TCL 20 Pro 5G counts with a very superior processing power than Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
The TCL 20 Pro 5G features a much bigger storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro, and although they both have the same 256 GB internal storage, the TCL 20 Pro 5G also has a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB. Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro counts with just a bit better battery duration than TCL 20 Pro 5G, because it has a 3% larger battery size.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro has a little bit better camera than TCL 20 Pro 5G, because although it has a way smaller back-facing camera sensor which offers a much worse image and video quality, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and a same size diafragm aperture, the Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro also counts with a way better resolution back facing camera and higher 60 fps video frame rates.
