Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus is slightly better than the TCL 20 Pro 5G, getting a general score of 78.1 against 76.1. Even though Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus is older than TCL 20 Pro 5G, it's body is thinner and somewhat lighter. Both of these phones use Android OS, but Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has the newer 6.0 Marshmallow version while TCL 20 Pro 5G has Android 11 version, giving you some extra features and increased performance.
The TCL 20 Pro 5G features a little faster CPU than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have a 6 GB RAM, the TCL 20 Pro 5G also has a higher number of cores (but slower). The Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has just a bit better display than TCL 20 Pro 5G, although it has a bit lower amount of pixels per inch of screen, a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 1920px and a little smaller display.
TCL 20 Pro 5G has a much better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because it has more internal storage and an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 1 TB. The TCL 20 Pro 5G shoots much better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the TCL 20 Pro 5G also has a lot larger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a larger aperture to take better captures in low-light situations and a camera with a much higher 48 megapixels resolution.
TCL 20 Pro 5G has a bit superior battery life than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because it has an 18% greater battery capacity.
