Comparison review
TCL 20 Pro 5G has an overall score of 76.1, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro's 75.7 global score. Both of these phones include Android OS (Operating System), but the TCL 20 Pro 5G has an older 11 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has Android 12 version. Despite being the best cellphone in this review, the TCL 20 Pro 5G is an older, thicker and a little bit heavier cellphone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro.
TCL 20 Pro 5G has a much better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro. Both have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro features a bit more vivid display than TCL 20 Pro 5G. Both of them have an equal resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, the same screen density and a display with the same size.
The TCL 20 Pro 5G has a much greater memory capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, because it has 256 GB internal storage and a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 1 TB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro counts with a bit longer battery lifetime than TCL 20 Pro 5G, because it has an 11 percent larger battery size.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro counts with a slightly better camera than TCL 20 Pro 5G, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for shooting photos in low light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro also counts with a much bigger sensor and a more megapixels back facing camera.
