Comparison review
The TCL 20 Pro 5G has a general score of 76.1, which is slightly better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro's global score of 75.8. TCL 20 Pro 5G is a notably newer cellphone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, although it's somewhat thicker and just a bit heavier. Both devices in our current comparison use Android OS, but TCL 20 Pro 5G has older 11 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro features a screen that's very similar to TCL 20 Pro 5G's display, because although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a little bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2160px and a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit higher display density.
