Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is just a bit better than TCL 20 Pro 5G, getting an 81.1 score against 76.1. Both phones in this review have Android OS (Operating System), but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has an older 10 version while TCL 20 Pro 5G has Android 11 version. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is an older and a bit heavier phone than TCL 20 Pro 5G, but Xiaomi managed to build it just a little bit thinner anyway.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a screen that's very similar to the TCL 20 Pro 5G one, both have exactly the same 1080 x 2400px resolution, the same count of pixels in each inch of display and a same size display. The TCL 20 Pro 5G features much more storage to install applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because it has a SD memory slot that supports up to 1 TB and more internal storage capacity.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has just a little better hardware performance than TCL 20 Pro 5G. They have a 6 GB RAM and a Octa-Core CPU. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro shoots slightly better pictures and videos than TCL 20 Pro 5G, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for shooting images and videos in low-light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also counts with a back-facing camera with a way better 64 mega-pixels resolution and a larger back camera sensor.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a bit superior battery life than TCL 20 Pro 5G, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity against 4500mAh.
