Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 20 is slightly better than Xiaomi 12 Lite, with a 79.5 score against 73.2. Both phones in our current comparison use Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei Mate 20 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi 12 Lite has Android 12 version, so it provides you a couple additional features and enhanced performance. Despite being the best phone we are comparing, the Huawei Mate 20 body is a little heavier and somewhat thicker than the Xiaomi 12 Lite.
Huawei Mate 20 features a brighter screen than Xiaomi 12 Lite, although it has a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2244 and a little bit worse amount of pixels per inch of display, they both have a display of the same size. Huawei Mate 20 counts with an extremely better processor than Xiaomi 12 Lite, although it has less RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
The Xiaomi 12 Lite takes slightly better photos and videos than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a way smaller back-facing camera sensor offering a way lower image quality and a tinier aperture which is not so good for low-light images and videos, it also counts with a back-facing camera with a much higher resolution.
The Huawei Mate 20 counts with as much storage for applications and games as the Xiaomi 12 Lite one, they have equal internal storage. Xiaomi 12 Lite counts with just a bit longer battery performance than Huawei Mate 20, because it has an 8 percent more battery capacity.
