Comparison review
The Xperia 1 III is way better than Xiaomi 12 Lite, getting a 93.3 score against 73.2. Although it's the best in this review, Xperia 1 III is a a bit heavier and just a little thicker cellphone than Xiaomi 12 Lite. Both of these phones work with Android operating system, but the Xperia 1 III has the previous 11 version while Xiaomi 12 Lite has Android 12 version.
Xperia 1 III features an incredibly better screen than Xiaomi 12 Lite, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Xperia 1 III also has a lot better display pixel density and a way higher 1644 x 3840 pixels resolution. The Sony Xperia 1 III counts with a much better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi 12 Lite, because it has a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 1 TB and 256 GB internal memory.
Xperia 1 III features a very superior processor than Xiaomi 12 Lite, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 1 III also has a larger amount of RAM. The Sony Xperia 1 III captures a little bit better videos and photos than Xiaomi 12 Lite, because although it has a much worse resolution back facing camera, it also counts with a much larger back camera sensor taking lot higher quality videos and photos and a bigger aperture to capture better low-light images and videos.
Xperia 1 III features a bit longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi 12 Lite, because it has a 5 percent larger battery capacity.
