Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is just a bit better than the Xiaomi 12 Lite, having a general score of 76 against 73.2. The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is a just a little bit thicker but a bit lighter device than Xiaomi 12 Lite. Both phones in our current comparison use Android OS (Operating System), but Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has a newer 6.0 Marshmallow version while Xiaomi 12 Lite has Android 12 version.
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has a much greater hardware performance than Xiaomi 12 Lite, although it has a lower number of cores , they both have the same RAM memory amount. Xiaomi Mi Note 2 features a bit sharper display than Xiaomi 12 Lite, although it has a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 1920px, a little bit lower screen pixel density and a little bit smaller screen.
The Xiaomi 12 Lite captures better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has a lot tinier back camera sensor giving a much worse image quality, it also counts with a larger aperture to capture better low light photos and video and a lot more mega pixels back facing camera. Xiaomi Mi Note 2 counts with as much memory capacity for apps and games as the Xiaomi 12 Lite one, they have exactly the same internal storage capacity.
Xiaomi 12 Lite has a little longer battery performance than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity.
