Comparison review
The Asus ZenFone 8 is just a bit better than Xiaomi 12 Pro, getting a general score of 83 against 79.6. These devices use Android operating system, but the Asus ZenFone 8 has older 11 version and Xiaomi 12 Pro has Android 12. Even though Asus ZenFone 8 and Xiaomi 12 Pro were only released 8 months apart, the Asus ZenFone 8 design is somewhat lighter but also just a little thicker than Xiaomi 12 Pro.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro features a little bit better looking screen than Asus ZenFone 8, because although it has less bright display, it also counts with a bit more pixels per inch of screen, a quite bigger display and a higher 1440 x 3200 pixels resolution. The Xiaomi 12 Pro and the Asus ZenFone 8 feature really similar memory for apps and games, they have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory.
Asus ZenFone 8 has a way better processing power than Xiaomi 12 Pro, although it has 2 GB less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. Xiaomi 12 Pro has a little better battery life than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has 4600mAh of battery capacity. Xiaomi 12 Pro takes clearer photographs and videos than Asus ZenFone 8, because although it has a lower video quality, a way lower resolution camera in the back and a smaller aperture which is not recommended for low light photos and video, it also counts with a much bigger camera sensor providing a lot higher image quality.
