Comparison review
The Xiaomi 12 Pro has a score of 79.6, which is slightly better than Huawei Mate 20's global score of 79.5. Although the Xiaomi 12 Pro is just a little heavier than Huawei Mate 20, it's a little thinner and also extremely newer. Both devices we compare here include Android OS (operating system), but Xiaomi 12 Pro has 12 version while Huawei Mate 20 has Android 9.0 Pie.
The Huawei Mate 20 features a lot better performance than Xiaomi 12 Pro, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. Xiaomi 12 Pro features a bit more vivid display than Huawei Mate 20, because it has a quite larger screen, a better count of pixels per inch of display, a bit brighter screen and a better resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels.
Xiaomi 12 Pro shoots much better photos and videos than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for shooting photographs and videos in low light situations, it also counts with a much more megapixels camera, a way higher 7680x4320 video resolution and a much bigger sensor providing a lot better image quality.
The Huawei Mate 20's storage capacity for games and applications is very similar to the Xiaomi 12 Pro one, they have equal internal memory capacity. Xiaomi 12 Pro counts with a bit better battery life than Huawei Mate 20, because it has a 15 percent larger battery capacity.
