The Xiaomi 12 Pro has a global score of 79.6, which is a little bit better than Huawei Mate 9 Pro's global score of 78.7. The Xiaomi 12 Pro construction is notably newer, but just a little bit thicker and somewhat heavier than Huawei Mate 9 Pro. Both phones in this comparison use Android OS (operating system), but Xiaomi 12 Pro has the previous 12 version and Huawei Mate 9 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a much better performing CPU than Xiaomi 12 Pro, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The Xiaomi 12 Pro features just a bit better looking screen than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has a little worse screen density, it also counts with a bigger display and a bit higher 1440 x 3200px resolution.

Xiaomi 12 Pro has a bit better battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has 4600mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
