Comparison review
LG G8 ThinQ has a global score of 84.3, which is slightly better than Xiaomi 12 Pro's 79.6 overall score. LG G8 ThinQ is a way older and just a little bit thicker cellphone than Xiaomi 12 Pro, but LG could make it somewhat lighter anyway. Both of these phones work with Android OS (operating system), but the LG G8 ThinQ has newer 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi 12 Pro has Android 12 version, so it gives lots of additional features and improved performance.
LG G8 ThinQ counts with a much more powerful processing unit than Xiaomi 12 Pro, although it has lesser RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. LG G8 ThinQ has a display that is just as good as the screen in Xiaomi 12 Pro, because although the LG G8 ThinQ has a little lower 1440 x 3120 resolution, a bit smaller screen and much worse brightness, it also counts with a bit higher quantity of pixels in each screen inch.
The LG G8 ThinQ features a lot bigger storage for apps and games than Xiaomi 12 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. The Xiaomi 12 Pro counts with superior battery life than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has a 31 percent greater battery size.
Xiaomi 12 Pro captures much better videos and photos than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a way smaller camera aperture which is not so good for taking photographs and/or video in low-light situations, it also counts with a much higher 7680x4320 video definition, a camera in the back with a way better 50 megapixels resolution and a way bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a lot higher image quality.
