Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A30s is just a bit better than the Xiaomi 12 Pro, getting a global score of 79.8 against 79.6. Samsung Galaxy A30s is an older phone than Xiaomi 12 Pro, but it is a little thinner and somewhat lighter anyway. Both phones in this review come with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy A30s has the previous 11 version while Xiaomi 12 Pro has Android 12.
Galaxy A30s counts with a much better performing processor than Xiaomi 12 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 cores. The Xiaomi 12 Pro has a way better screen than Samsung Galaxy A30s, because it has a much higher resolution of 1440 x 3200, a little bit larger screen and a lot higher screen pixel density.
Galaxy A30s features a much bigger memory for games and applications than Xiaomi 12 Pro, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage, the Galaxy A30s also has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 512 GB. Xiaomi 12 Pro shoots a lot better photographs and videos than Galaxy A30s, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not favorable for shooting images in low light situations, it also counts with a back facing camera with a much higher resolution and a much better 7680x4320 video resolution.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro counts with just a little bit longer battery performance than Galaxy A30s, because it has 4600mAh of battery capacity.
