Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A40 has a general score of 79.6, which is slightly better than Xiaomi 12 Pro's score of 79.6. The Samsung Galaxy A40 is an notably older phone than Xiaomi 12 Pro, but it's incredibly lighter and a little bit thinner anyway. Both phones in this review have Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy A40 has the previous 11 version and Xiaomi 12 Pro has Android 12 version.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro counts with a more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy A40, because it has a bit greater pixel density, a higher resolution of 1440 x 3200 and a bit bigger screen. Galaxy A40 counts with a greater memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi 12 Pro, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that holds up to 512 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy A40 features a way better performance than Xiaomi 12 Pro, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. The Xiaomi 12 Pro takes way better pictures and videos than Galaxy A40, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for shooting photographs in low-light situations, it also counts with a way more mega pixels back camera, a lot higher 7680x4320 video resolution and a much larger back camera sensor.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro counts with a much longer battery duration than Galaxy A40, because it has a 4600mAh battery size.
