Comparison review
The Galaxy A71 is a little bit better than Xiaomi 12 Pro, with an 87.5 score against 79.6. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy A71 has an older 11 version and Xiaomi 12 Pro has Android 12 version. The Galaxy A71 is an older cellphone than the Xiaomi 12 Pro, but Samsung could make it a little bit thinner and lighter.
Xiaomi 12 Pro features a sharper display than Galaxy A71, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Xiaomi 12 Pro also has a higher display pixel density and a higher resolution of 1440 x 3200px. The Samsung Galaxy A71 features a lot better processing power than Xiaomi 12 Pro, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 cpu cores.
Samsung Galaxy A71 has a much better storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi 12 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy A71 also has an external memory card slot that allows up to 512 GB. The Xiaomi 12 Pro captures slightly better videos and photos than Galaxy A71, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not nice for low light photos and a lot less mega pixels resolution back-facing camera, it also counts with a way larger sensor and a lot better video quality.
Xiaomi 12 Pro has a little better battery life than Galaxy A71, because it has a 2% greater battery capacity.
