Comparison review
Galaxy Note8 is slightly better than Xiaomi 12 Pro, having an 83 score against 79.6. Galaxy Note8's construction is a little lighter than Xiaomi 12 Pro, although it's a little bit thicker and was released many years before. These phones use Android operating system, but the Galaxy Note8 has 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi 12 Pro has Android 12 version.
The Galaxy Note8 features a lot better performance than Xiaomi 12 Pro, although it has less RAM, they both have the same number of cores. Xiaomi 12 Pro has a bit sharper screen than Galaxy Note8, because it has a just a little higher screen pixels density, a little bit higher resolution of 1440 x 3200 and a little larger display.
The Galaxy Note8 counts with just a bit bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi 12 Pro, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 256 GB. The Xiaomi 12 Pro takes greater pictures and videos than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for low-light photos and videos, it also counts with a lot better 7680x4320 video resolution, a way larger camera sensor and a way more mega-pixels back camera.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro counts with a superior battery lifetime than Galaxy Note8, because it has 4600mAh of battery capacity against 3300mAh.
