Comparison review
Xperia 1 VI is just a bit better than Xiaomi 12 Pro, getting an 83.2 score against 79.6. These phones include Android OS, but the Xperia 1 VI has newer 14 version while Xiaomi 12 Pro has Android 12 version, giving you some extra features. The Xperia 1 VI is a thinner and a lot lighter device than the Xiaomi 12 Pro.
Xiaomi 12 Pro counts with a sharper screen than Sony Xperia 1 VI, although it has a quite smaller screen, a little lower 1440 x 3200 resolution and a bit less pixels per inch in the display. Xiaomi 12 Pro and Xperia 1 VI feature similar processing units, and although the Xperia 1 VI has more RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
Xperia 1 VI has a much bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi 12 Pro, because it has 256 GB internal memory capacity and a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 1 TB. The Xiaomi 12 Pro shoots a little bit better photos and videos than Sony Xperia 1 VI, and although they both have the same aperture, the Xiaomi 12 Pro also has a higher 50 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera, a way better 7680x4320 video quality and a bigger sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
Sony Xperia 1 VI has just a bit better battery life than Xiaomi 12 Pro, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4600mAh.
