Comparison review
The Xperia XZ Premium is just a bit better than Xiaomi 12 Pro, getting a 79.8 score against 79.6. The Xperia XZ Premium is an noticeably older device than Xiaomi 12 Pro, but Sony could make it a bit thinner and just a bit lighter anyway. Xperia XZ Premium has just a bit better display than Xiaomi 12 Pro, because although it has way less brightness and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 2160 x 3840 and a way higher screen pixels density.
The Xperia XZ Premium counts with a much faster CPU than Xiaomi 12 Pro, although it has 4 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. The Xiaomi 12 Pro features a very superior camera than Xperia XZ Premium, because it has a lot higher 7680x4320 video definition, a larger diafragm aperture to capture better captures in low-light environments, a way bigger back camera sensor capturing lot higher quality videos and photographs and a way more mega pixels back-facing camera.
The Xperia XZ Premium counts with a bit bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi 12 Pro, because although it has 0 less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 256 GB.
