Both phones in this review include Android OS (operating system), but Xiaomi Black Shark has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi 12 Pro has Android 12. Xiaomi Black Shark is a notably older and somewhat thicker phone than the Xiaomi 12 Pro, but Xiaomi managed to make it just a little bit lighter anyway.
Xiaomi 12 Pro counts with a brighter display than Xiaomi Black Shark, because it has a better amount of pixels per inch in the screen, a quite bigger screen, a better resolution of 1440 x 3200px and way more brightness. Xiaomi Black Shark has a way better hardware performance than Xiaomi 12 Pro. Both of them have the same number of cores and a 8 GB RAM memory.
