Both phones we are comparing here have Android OS (Operating System), but Xiaomi 12 Pro has older 12 version and Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. Xiaomi 12 Pro's construction is notably newer, but somewhat heavier and just a little thicker than Xiaomi Mi Note 2.
