Comparison review
Asus ZenFone 8 has a score of 83, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi 12's 78.8 score. These devices work with Android OS, but the Asus ZenFone 8 has the older 11 version and Xiaomi 12 has Android 12. The Asus ZenFone 8 construction is a little bit thicker but just a little lighter than the Xiaomi 12, and they were released only 8 months apart.
The Asus ZenFone 8 has a bit better screen than Xiaomi 12, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have the same screen brightness and the same exact 1080 x 2400px resolution, the Asus ZenFone 8 also counts with a just a bit better screen pixel density. The Asus ZenFone 8's memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos is very similar to the Xiaomi 12 one, both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage.
Asus ZenFone 8 features an extremely better CPU than Xiaomi 12, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. The Xiaomi 12 features just a little bit longer battery duration than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity against 4000mAh. Asus ZenFone 8 shoots just a bit better photographs and videos than Xiaomi 12, because although it has a tinier camera sensor providing a lower image quality, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 7680x4320 video resolution, the Asus ZenFone 8 also counts with a lot more MP back facing camera and a larger diafragm aperture to capture better photography in low light environments.
