Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 20 has a general score of 79.5, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi 12's overall score of 78.8. Although it's the best in our current comparison, Huawei Mate 20 is a older, just a little heavier and a bit thicker cellphone than Xiaomi 12. Both phones we are comparing here have Android OS, but Huawei Mate 20 has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi 12 has Android 12 version.
The Xiaomi 12 features a slightly better looking screen than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a quite higher pixels number in each inch in the display, a bit higher 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a brighter display. Huawei Mate 20 and Xiaomi 12 count with extremely similar storage capacity to install games and applications, both of them have the same internal memory.
Huawei Mate 20 has a much better performance than Xiaomi 12, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor. Xiaomi 12 shoots much clearer photos and videos than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a tinier aperture, it also counts with a camera in the back with much more mega pixels, a way better video resolution and a lot bigger sensor providing a way better image quality.
Xiaomi 12 has just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 20, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity.
