Comparison review
Huawei Mate 30 is just a bit better than Xiaomi 12, with a global score of 84 against 78.8. Both phones in this review work with Android operating system, but Huawei Mate 30 has the previous 10 version and Xiaomi 12 has Android 12 version. Even though Huawei Mate 30 is a better phone than Xiaomi 12, we must note that it is also a noticeably older, just a little thicker and just a little bit heavier phone.
The Huawei Mate 30 features a much better performing processing unit than Xiaomi 12. Both of them have the same number of cores and a 8 GB RAM memory. The Xiaomi 12 counts with a slightly better screen than Huawei Mate 30, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a little bit better pixel density.
The Huawei Mate 30's memory capacity to install applications and games is just as good as Xiaomi 12's one, they have the same internal storage. The Xiaomi 12 counts with a little bit better camera than Huawei Mate 30, because although it has a smaller aperture and a tinier back camera sensor taking less light and dull colors, it also counts with a camera in the back with more mega pixels and a much higher 7680x4320 video resolution.
Xiaomi 12 features just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 30, because it has a 7 percent greater battery size.
