Comparison review
The Huawei P40 has an overall score of 86.4, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi 12's 78.8 general score. Huawei P40's body is just a bit lighter than the Xiaomi 12, but it is a little bit thicker and was released just a bit further than a year before. Both of these phones include Android OS, but the Huawei P40 has the previous 10 version while Xiaomi 12 has Android 12 version.
The Huawei P40 features a much more powerful processing unit than Xiaomi 12, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The Xiaomi 12 has a little sharper screen than Huawei P40, because although it has a just a little inferior number of pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a little bit larger display and a bit higher 1080 x 2400 resolution.
The Xiaomi 12 captures just a bit better photographs and videos than Huawei P40, because although it has a tinier back camera sensor shooting lower quality videos and pictures, and they both have the same aperture and a same resolution back facing camera, the Xiaomi 12 also counts with a lot better 7680x4320 video resolution.
Huawei P40's memory for games and applications is very similar to Xiaomi 12's one, they have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity. The Xiaomi 12 has just a little bit longer battery performance than Huawei P40, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
